The Olympic tennis center of Beijing was fully packed, hours before the final game that joined Elena Dementieva (seeded 5^th in world ranking) and Dinara Safina( ranked 6^th), in a conclusion of the Female singles tournament. Everyone anticipated the start and the end, to know who will be the gold medalist.

Dementieva’s come back into the game was a disappointing fact for Safina, who was 1 set away from wearing a golden medal. Dementieva was a bit better in the last hour of the game that lasted for 2 and half hours. Lucky crowds!
