OS Beijing 2008 Paralympics Olympics Pekin

Argentina completed the 1^st round by collecting every possible point, 9 dots from 3 games. The tango boys managed to get to the quarter finals along with the Ivory Coast. Lionel Messi, whose country was so thankful for Barcelona that allowed him to play the Olympics is delighting the crowds with his skills, led the Tango boys on Wednesday to set a new Olympic record of 9 successive victories, from which 6 were achieved in Athens 2004 and 3 here in Beijing, China.

Brazil also moved up to the 8 round, with a perfect defensive lineup that kept its goal clean. The 2 South American teams blew away any Asian hope of qualifying, after knocking out China and Japan. Samba will meet the lions of Africa, the Cameroon and Argentina plays in opposition to Holland.

European bands such as Italy, Netherland and Belgium qualified with no surprises. Squadra Azura are proving the fact that the world championship wasn’t earned by chance, and willing to confirm it against Belgium in the quarter finals.

Orange Holland is still sticking to the team work and specific passing techniques, which we enjoyed in the European championship games.

Africa is absolutely proud with 3 nations qualifying to the 2^nd round. Ivory Coast and Nigeria will be facing each others, with 1 to go back home, and 1 to qualify to the semi-finals.

From the other side, Cameroon facing the Brazilian Samba will have to give all they have to stop coach Dunga and friends, and qualify to the semis.

Millions of people were amazed by that little girl with her sweetest voice ever at the Opening Ceremony!!!

The patriotic song “Hymn to the Motherland” at the Opening Ceremony was sang by a 9 year old girl “Lin Miaoke”…. that’s what all the audience watched and heard…

But no!!!! We’ve been fooled by the Chinese Opening.

Lin Miaoke was the beautiful looking girl on stage, but the beautiful voice you heard was that of “Yang Peiyi” the 7 year old girl, whom was hidden back stage since, as they said, had nice voice with bad teeth…not good to be shown on stage. Isn’t that shocking!

Lin Miaoke got all the praise…and innocent Yang Peiyi is just proud to be chosen to sing!

The Grand opening didn’t just have dancers all over the National Stadium,Bird’s Nest Stadium, not only drummers performing amazingly, not only space performers….but astonishing fireworks that exploded all over Beijing…The globe that illuminated the stadium was nothing compared to the fireworks.

However, we’ve been hearing that the fireworks were partly faked! All those watching live, whether in the stadium or on TV…they have seen a pre-recorded shot!!! on the other hand, videos were taken from Chinese street and it didn’t seem faked at all… what’s the truth behind this ! ?

De 29:e olympiska spelen kommer att ske i Beijing (Peking), under perioden 8-24 augusti 2008 i Kinas huvudstad. Invigningen kommer att starta på kvällen 2008-08-08 klockan 08:08:08.

Det är inte länge kvar till OS start och alla ögon är riktade mot Kina. De har många olika kriterier att uppfylla och kraven måste uppnås för att allt ska gå rätt till.  Flera års förberedelser och massor med miljoner investerade i nya sportarenor. Kommer allt vara på plats inför vad många säger att det ska vara det mest sensationella OS någonsin?
